Blueberries, Herbs star in Small-Acreage video series

blueberries video jacketherbs video jacketAmong videos produced by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Educational Communications (formerly Ag Communications) is a series studying successes in smallacreage farming. Already complete are Nothing but Herbs, which examines expertise of owner Barbara Arnold on growing and marketing 230 varieties of herbs on her 4 l/2-acre farm.

In the second, Riley Creek Blueberry Farm, Stan Urmann shares insights for producing and marketing blueberries on his 5-acre farm in the Idaho Panhandle.

The newest, due out by early 2005, highlights tips from Nampa's Janie Burns of Meadowlark Farm about raising sheep, chickens, turkeys, and some vegetables.
