Volunteers needed for Ag Pavilion at Boise and Blackfoot fairs

Each summer the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) joins organizations from across Idaho in a special effort to tell the story of agriculture at the Ag Pavilion during Boise’s Western Idaho Fair, August 20 to 28, and Blackfoot’s Eastern Idaho State Fair, September 4 to 11.

Ag Pavilion is sponsored by the Food Producers of Idaho, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about Idaho’s food and fiber industry. Volunteers are needed to staff the pavilion and answer questions about the pavilion or the agricultural industry.

Our alumni, faculty, staff, and students are invited to take a few hours to help CALS by volunteering at one of the fairs. It’s a great opportunity to show your college and Vandal pride. To participate, please call 208.885.2664 or e-mail CALSAlumni@uidaho.edu.
