About illustrator Noah Kroese, class of 2004
Noah Kroese (say it Crew-sah) graduated in 2004 with a BFA. in drawing and painting. Since then, he has lived in Moscow doing freelance illustration for a number of different publications including magazines, newspapers, and websites. He also does commission work for private parties.
Says Kroese, “I work mainly in watercolor, graphite, and oil paints. If I'm not illustrating, you'll usually find me either trying to get my book published (I recently finished a children's book) or filling out applications to graduate schools.”
Kroese grew up in Coeur d’Alene where he was “always interested in art, and always liked to draw.” His children’s book is “about a Yeti named Freddy who eats spaghetti.”
His illustrations for our Invasive Species story are done in ink and watercolor.

We loved these three illustrations, too, but did not have space for them in our 10-page story.
